Oddly Enough

Yes I like the life I lead.
Without the aggravation,
I could do a better deed
Without some interrogation.

I bumble through the crowd,
Through people who look at me.
Some kids question out loud
‘Why, mum can’t you see.’

I begin to think to myself,
Yes it’s a bugger and a pain,
But I am lucky I have my health
And a great deal more to gain.

To gain from what? You may ask.
Of course I mean from the world
Everyday I had a different task
That is yet to be unveiled.

Walking is a tiny problem
When you look at in scale.
Of course I whinge, of course I moan
When I look at every detail.
