| I love life and I cannot get enough which is part of the reason this website has taken so long to put together. As you can see I went to art college and lived my life to the full. I admit it I was no angel. I hope I have chosen the right way. I feel like the world is my oyster and to live it to the full. Mobility restrictions apply here. I have a rare undiagnosed spastic pariparesis. I have trouble with my balance. As I don’t have a diagnosis the doctors have put it between two conditions. Both of which are neurological. These are Ataxia and Dystonia so call me what you want. Specialists think that it could have manifested itself in a gene that I inherited from way back in my family tree. It could have also been from a head injury I had when I was about 6 years old. I noticed when I was 10 years old that my hands shook when I made my mum a cup of coffee. I thought I was clumsy. Then I got off the school bus and was called “flipper feet” because my toes turned inwards and I used to trip over my feet. No one is 100% sure of the diagnosis so I live each day as it comes and make sure I have plenty of fun on the way. I
use a wheelchair now and it has given me even more freedom and I look
cool. I love rollercoasters and can’t get enough of them. I abseiled
down a rock, in South Africa, where I used to live, aged 6. When I reached
the bottom I climbed back up and asked to do it again. I did it again
in Plymouth 1998 when I was at art college with mobility problems. I do
admire Bear Grylls and his attitude towards life. I have written poems
searching for the meaning of life. I believe I have found it now. It is
love and happiness.
